No call audio on Verizon S4, requires battery pull to fix.

The title mostly says it all, twice in the last week my S4 has decided that it no longer wants to pass along any sound to me during phone calls. Hitting the volume buttons, speaker button, headset button, mute button, nothing works, the phone audio is just missing despite the fact that other phone noises are playing normally, such as the sound of dialing numbers on the keypad. I also found that a normal reboot didn't fix it, I wound up having to yank the battery for a minute before powering the phone back up to get the audio back.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Just another feature VZW decided you didn't need to have, but they do supply their own app that they will gladly let you use for a small monthly fee. :-) :-$
/sarcasm off

But in all honesty, just take it back to the store and have them replace it. Hopefully you have the insurance. Good Luck

Same issue on my device: no in call sound at all! unfortunately not even the battery trick is not working for me :(
Has anybody got any fix for this problem? (except for the obvious return to manufacturer that will happen too)

Thanks!

I did solve the problem two weeks ago. Backup all your data (I used KIES) to backup all my data, then dive in to "Settings", then under "Backup option" select "Backup and reset", under 'Personal data' choose "Factory data reset". After the factory default reset, you can restore your data part-by-part while after a part restore, you test if is your phone is still working. It worked with me, unfortunately I have downloaded some Apps within the last 2 weeks, this morning it has crushed again. I need to follow the explained route and check which application causes this fatal error. I:cool:f you take it to Manufacture they gonna do the same, (Wipe off your phone) . . . . . . .
