No camera icon in my lock screen

Hi I recently updated to kitkat on my note3, After updating I cant see camera icon in my lock screen is there any other thing I need to do. Please advice

Go to settings - device - lock screen - shortcuts. Turn it on and select which shortcuts you want on lock screen. Unless Kit Kat has taken that away.

I have the camera icon on my lock screen but it does not work, I touch it and nothing happens,any suggestions?

You need to swipe the button up to enable the camera.

you have to swipe the camera icon

Just put it on mine and swipe works fine. Never thought of adding this icon there thanks for the idea.

Thank you Irteceno, so much for posting this, it was such a great help! Even a phone challenged person like me, was able to get that icon off my lock screen! You are awesome!
