Forums always seem full of complaints or problems...

From the moment I picked this devise up, the way it's constructed, to powering it up for the first time, this is unique.

From owning the original G1, and 6 other androids between it and the Galaxy Nexus, this thing is slick.

ICS, while getting some criticism, is a welcome change in my opinion. It feels fresh, it's smooth, and when comparing it to my wife's bionic, it makes the motorola seem geriatric.

As far as smartphones go, and if I reviewed phones, it would win every "dog fight", or comparison I would put it up against.

Yup, same here. Absolutely LOVING it so far. I know I have to wait for a few apps to be available with ICS (I'm talking to you NFL mobile and HBO GO), but there is sooooo much to love about ICS and this phone. I actually love the camera too. I find the video camera to be exceptional, and the photos to be very very good when you tap to focus first. I love the screen, love using skype and gtalk for video calls (first time doing this sort of thing), love the new browser and new Gmail, and love just about everything else!

Way to go Google, fantastic job. A phone that actually lives of to the tremendous hype. Amazing ..

I concur. After waiting two months i am sure this was worth the wait. The device is solid but smooth in the hand and I can say that the phone just works. On launch day the the store rep told me she didnt understand how anyone knew about the device since there was no advertising but they were selling them faster then razrs abd rezounds combined.

I think the vocal minority that cares about nexuses is slowly but surely becoming a majority.

I love mine as well. Ive had a D1,D2,Razr,Facinate,Tbolt,DX on Verizon, Optimus s(work),Evo,Evo3d,Hero,epic on Sprint. Not to mention every Treo/Handspring, HTC winmo phones,Blackberries, Palm Pre(4 of them..), and an iphone. This Nexus is BY FAR my favorite. Google really did a bang up job with ICS, and Samsung did a great job of incorporating a lot of hardware features into a device that seems plain and boring (read simple to use). Any complaint that I did have were easily corrected. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't be able to hang on to this one until contract end, especially with the way Google supports the nexus devices.

This thing is just awesome. Very very happy with it. Every phone will have its issues. I will never again get a Touchwiz/Motoblur/Sense phone.

I agree with above. I may not be able to say everything works my way. Some functions have room for improvement. However, waiting for seeing those improvements in the future would even be another joy. I dare to say that my GN is by far the best android phone I have ever used.

Agree with that. I had sense, blur, and touchwiz phones... No more. I am satisfied with the ICS launcher as well!

This is my first android phone, but my friend who has a EVO 3D really liked how clean my Nexus is compared to his. And having seen how long it takes his EVO 3D take pictures... I really like the super fast shutter on the Nexus, I was taking 3 or 4 pictures of the same thing as him in the time he was taking 1 and all of mine were in focus and looked better, by the time he got a good one I could have had people commenting on facebook about the picture

I have some complaints because as always, nothing is perfect. But I am really satisfied with this phone. For the few issues there are, I have found a fix and I know official fixes are coming.

I just died laughing. Not to get off topic but I'm starting season 6 on Netflix as we speak.

Great phone so far. Taking some getting used to with straight ICS and no Sense but getting there. Can't complain. It will only get better as google gets more feed back from us and update missing options, improve on battery life and signal.
