No double tap to wake phone with third party launchers?

I see many of you here use Nova. I installed it but now double tap no longer wakes phone. Any workaround?

If it is possible to add custom drawers or folders to the Home screen of native launcher, I will stick to it.

I guess I didn't read the title correctly. Saw third party launcher and assumed they were talking about double tap to sleep.

Double tap to wake is a system setting so no 3rd party app should affect it.

I use screen lock pro with Nova because if you set double tap in nova to lock screen, it won't let you use the fingerprint to unlock the screen again

Try this. Open Nova settings, scroll down and tap on 'advanced' to expand the menu, tap on 'screen lock method' and select 'timeout'. Now define a gesture for Nova screen lock. See if it works with fingerprint unlock. This is a new feature after the latest update.

I don't know, how you manage to work with double tap screen on, it used to be good for a moment then it got annoying :|

Thanks to you and to Mike Dee1, very informative. By tapping on the notification panel, the phone is locked instantly, even with an application running.

Double tap to wake is fine. Double tap to sleep only works on the drop down blind under Nova. Here's hoping they update their app to correct this.

Will try new Nova settings.

What version? I've got 5.0.1 (beta), and works as described.
