No feeling of urgency for S9

Just wanted to say I am still really enjoying my S8 Plus. Great size and feel in hand. I'm not a camera buff or game player so those things are fine for me. Fast and does everything I want/need. Oreo battery fine since I Factory Reset. Just can't see spending money this year on something new when this phone fulfills my needs. Guess I'm just not keeping up with the improvements, but continue to enjoy this phone a lot.

That's great that you are enjoying it! It's a fantastic device! And you are right: sometimes new upgrades aren't justified when you are truly enjoying your phone and it is fulfilling your needs.

It's a great phone, but I'm ditching it as soon as the note 9 comes out. Lol
This will actually turn into my back up phone.

I'm going to be keeping/using my S8+ for a while. This has been one of the best phones I've ever had. My tablet is collecting dust!

I do switch off with my V20 (another fantastic phone) so maybe that prolongs the life of both phones but I enjoy the different experiences.

Oh, me too! I'd totally use my Pixel 2 with an LG V30 or HTC U11 if I had the cash!
