To EJT,
Saw your posts above and wanted to thank you. Your clear instructions were dead on. I simply searched my Nexus's default Google Chrome for the Adobe 11.1 link you provided, downloaded that .apk program to my Nexus and touched the completed program on the download screen. No icons or other indicators that the flash program had actually been installed, but it clearly was. I didn't even need to install firefox or dolphin. Now when I open google chrome, all my flash video's play (after some time downloading) complete with video (and unfortunately also with all the pre-emptive commercials). I don't know why this worked (was this sideloading?), but it clearly did, and my flash video problem is now solved. By the way.....shame, shame, shame on Google. They developed a beautiful, inexpensive tablet (the Nexus 7), then loaded it with their own default browser (Google Chrome), which is clearly aimed at on-line purchasing, then failed to even provide it with a working flash video player......completely ridiculous, insulting, and counterproductive to their mission.....I would fire the bozo's who allowed that to happen. So thank god for the android forum and contributors like EJT...and his Xmas present!!
P.S. I've already jailbroken my iphone 4 and set it up for tethering so now I can use my Nexus 7 to capture my iphone's 3g data stream when I'm away from any WiFi sources.....and that also works beautifully. Finally, I downloaded "Photo Transfer App" to both my Nexus 7 (free, from google maps) and to my iphone ($2.99 from the apple app store) and the two programs beautifully sync my iphone and my nexus to my home WiFi, allowing me to use my iphone's cameras to take picture, then transfer them easily and wirelessly to my Nexus 7 for large screeen viewing, editing, e-mailing etc. Now I feel completely vindicated in buying my first android device (the Nexus 7) instead of supporting another one of Apple's monster monopolies, i.e. the ipad. And so far, no need yet to root, unlock, or brick either my iphone or my nexus. Goooo Android!!!!
