Play store says my maps app is up to date but it's version 7. something, not the new V8 with many new features. What gives??

On the subject of Maps... what about the late night smoky sultry voice our girl has on the S5! That freaks everyone out the first time they hear it when they're riding with me.

Its a staged rollout. I got mine yesterday!

This. It is a staged roll-out so it will be coming to us all (usually within the week).

Smooth4lyfe. Does your grunge phone icon in the dock show badges for missed calls? Nova prime feature?

It seems I got mine already. I was driving today and was pleased to hear: stay in the two left lanes to continue on such and such road! Awesome!

You can almost always get the .APK file for new app releases from Android Police before the Play Store rollout gets to you.

New to the Android phones, does the google maps show the speed limit of the area you are in? I'm coming from an iPhone and an navigation app called Navigon would indicate the speed limit in the top right corner and it was really nice when you were in an area you weren't familiar with and hadn't seen a posted sign. Thanks!
