I just looked through all other posts and can't seem to find the same error I am getting, so here goes nothing:

I currently have my work email synced with my company native exchange server on my Cliq, but I use Documents to Go and would rather use RoadSync. After viewing their Demo and reading the review on Android Central it just makes sense to include RoadSync.

So after completing the configuration I get an error message:

Sync Erros: (-1001) Host is unresolved: HTTPS:443 [UnknownHostException]

I even contacted out IT department to get all the information that I need!!

Now I know my settings are correct because like I mentioned before, I get my work email fine through the native exchange server.

I have contacted DataViz a week ago and nothing, I am willing to shell out $10.00, so you think someone would be inclined to help me so I can use their product. I hope some can help, as I am on the trial and would really like to purchase the full version

Currently Frustrated!! :mad::mad::mad:

Really

30 views and not one person has any suggestions!!!! I will also be damned to pay DataViz $10.00 for trouble shooting, when I already paid $10.00 for the app itself!!! Freaking pointless!! :mad:

Are you using DroidWall and have the app not whitelisted? Also, do you know if your Exchange server uses SSL or not.

Dont know if the same solution will work for you, but I got what I believe to have been the same error message - once I removed the "\exchange" from the server name, all worked fine. Im also using the droid incredible - not the cliq.

I had a very similar problem. I would periodically get the Sync Error: (-1001) message. This became a more frequent and frequent problem until two days ago the app never would sync with my exchange server. After many hours of changing settings and working with the exchange provider, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again. I had to manually put in the settings, the automatic account set up did not work. Now, everything works fine. All sync'd up. Looks like buggy software to me!!
