No LED Notification??

I guess best place to go is Google support and ask if could change things because we don't have that kind of pull here .

Wouldn't you think Google could have gotten some new blood in the company to give some objective views ?

Know it's always too late.

How do you change hardware?

Complain for the next pixel

Edit nothing we can do the pixel is here

But if don't like features or been taken out .. call corporate, what I'm saying is we in the forums can't do anything to change anything in devices here now . You want to give ideas to the next pixel voice it to Google directly through cooperate or write a letter

How do you know they didn't get "new blood"? and the new blood doesn't think as you do. Maybe your thoughts are not what everyone thinks

I have it on the P2XL , but its superfluous, since I have a text, missed call or email 100% of the time(A light to let me know that, is useless). Not going to miss it on the P3.

If they got new blood, where did they get it at Texas A&M.

Look at everything people has said they wished had of been changed
Did they not have been a whole year to work on this phone.
They should be already be ready for next year's phone now.

I owned and operated my own business for 19 yrs.
I didn't just get out of Bed...

Samsung ruined me with the Led lights.
I depended on the LED light, especially when I'm hard of hearing.

Like I said maybe the new blood thinks LED's aren't needed anymore and with the amount of post and traffic on this thread they could be right

@cardboard60 ... You are one wild cat!:D:p

Google has been ramping up their hardware personnel since 2016, with the biggest addition coming this spring with the HTC talent acquisition. This is just their third year producing their hardware. I'm sure they are establishing a great foundation for the future.

Why does Google take these back steps? Everyone wants and needs it and its so much easier that tapping on just to see whats waiting for you.

I certainly don't want or need the notification light. That tells me nothing. I've had recent Moto devices that didn't have it and never missed it.

They do have new blood. The Pixel 3 was already in motion so it is doubtful the HTC team they hired had any real input.
