no light on galaxy s4 capacitive buttons

hello! i have this problem on my galaxy s4 i9500 since yesterday. no lights from capacitive buttons even if i have selected always on. i made a hard reset, erased all data, also re-installed the fw but nothing. the device is running on the latest original samsung fw.
can someone help me how to solve this ?

Maybe it's a faulty phone. You should be able to exchange it under warranty.
