Thats BS - Asus needs to support their product. If you return the defective one to the store they will just ship it back to Asus as a return - there is absolutely no reason that you should have to suffer for a substandard charger You are not harming the retailer and Asus needs to stand behind their product. It is BS that you should have to be without the tablet you spent huindereds on while they take their sweet time shipping a replacement. Return the replacement - get your money back - and know that you are in no way hurting the huge faceless retailer or manufacturer that already have your hard earned cash.
PS - I have a thread in the accessories subforum about third party chargers and some of the things that seem to lead to charger failure (ie charging overnight)
