No Love for the V10....

The V10 is my first non-Motorola smart phone. It contends with the 2014 Moto X as my favorite smart phone ever. I prefer a more of a stock Android UI but that's what Nova is for. With it being my first LG smartphone, I was a little nervous getting it but I'm really glad I did. My only major complaint is the back light bleed on the second screen. Other than that, it's an excellent phone that should be considered more often.

I also have the AT&T carrier version of the V10 (H900). My phone is on Android version 5.1.1 and, mine has not been updated since December 3rd (the day after I got it).

It's frustrating that this phone hasn't seen a update. Verizon, and TMobile and the unlocked versions either has rolled out Android 6.0 or, has announced when they roll it out.

Meanwhile, AT&T has not confirmed a release date for Marshmallow for their V10. Part of the reason due to lack of updates is from what I have heard, was for writing software for the V10's second screen.

On the bright side, hopefully all of this extra time will give us a more stable Android 6.0 build! :)

Not to get off topic, but my next question is what's after the v10? The v20?
If the rumors and leaks are true about the Note 6, then I'm starting a new LG family....haha!

It all depends on what direction LG takes for me.

Personally... As much as I like the second screen I would much rather see it a full length screen top to bottom and allow the notifications to move to where ever I want to see it... Top bottom side... Basically unlock it from the top only aspect.

Further kick up the resolution and be able to set it where I choose it to be.. They can quite easily do this and improve the quality of of the screen for a more detailed and realistic color pallet. Many don't like this notion but if they did it correctly it would be better than amoled.

Put better speakers in it and have both front facing.. then increase the output to the headphone jack with a upgraded internal Dac. They can save themselves a ton of money and just get rid of the "friends" because they're not going to sell as many as they think.

Loose the front facing selfie camera and put the absolute best one on the back with the best software available that is fully optimized.

Make every piece of software available to be removed that goes into it even from the carriers and make sure it is fully waterproof and dust resistant with the removable battery and SD card.

I know it will upset the selfie crowd but they will hate not having it enough to buy one..

I hope LG stays with improving upon the V10, and not follow the G5 debacle.

This has been my favorite phone of all time.

Edit: I have actually used the 2nd front facing camera, and found it very cool for events to take a selfie and include some background. Never understood the dual rear camera setup on the G5.
