Despite several lengthy tech support sessions with AT&T, I can't get numbersync to work on my unlocked TMO Note 5. Although it did work briefly before the last Gear S2 update, now I simply can't get numbersync to work and all it does is cycle down my battery in less than 2 hours as it apparently tries to activate numbersync. Has anyone else with an unlocked TMO phone experienced the same problem or found a solution? Thanks.

Try factory resetting the gear...the full factory reset. After the last update my battery reacted the same. I figured something was corrupted with it. I factory reset the gear, got it set back up again with numbersync and all is well now! My battery life now ROCKS....and numbersync works great. I could easily get a day and a half battery life now. However, I'm using a regular note 5 with AT&T..not an unlocked one so not sure about that part. Good luck...maybe worth trying the factory reset.

Just found out that only a few android phones and iphones support numbersync as those are the only phones that support HD VOICE which is a requirement for numbersync.
Sucks for me and my moto X pure.
Question is do those that support numbersync have to be from AT&T

I can't get it on my unlocked Nexus 6 with my LG Urbane 2nd Edition LTE. AT&T support says HD Voice is needed with a branded phone.
