The Razr had one because Moto put it there. Just another product of OEM "enhancements". Astro is good.

Samsung didn't have a say as to what's included on this phone, that's what makes it a Nexus.

There are plenty of good ones that are free, if you don't like the ads then pay the dollar to remove them. It's good to support our app developers anyways, I typically pay even if I don't use or need the pro functionality.
