Tell ya what. If you are serious about making a ROM and just need some help or pointers, let me know. I will take the time to try and help you out rnorris. I still have my Optimus that is on the newer baseband tho. SO, if you want to create a starting point for your ROM on the NEW baseband, I will help ya out.

Its always good to see new members contributing to the community. Its also hard to get started in a community as the new guy in town I can test your builds on my optimus after you have verified it working on yours. This way we dont brick any members phones.

Once again, Im willing to help if you want a new start on this project on the newest baseband. Good luck and hope to hear from you soon.

data is fine on zvh/zvj and way longer battery life.

Really? I'll be damned if I can get anything zvj to last longer than 8hrs with low/no use. Do me a favor and post your rom, kernel, cpu settings and whatever volt mod you're using.

I am trying to disable signatures in my update screen so that I can downgrade to ZVD from ZVJ. Thank you for any help.

You must have a custom recovery to disable signatures, but you must use stock recovery with this zip Optimus S LS670ZVD to downgrade with everything working.

Also, next time start a new thread because you might get more help. And also, this thread was dead for a reason, but lets not bring that up. :-X :-X

In either the device's foyer (stock section?) or in its Rooting, ROMs, & Hacks section, there is a button to the top left of the stickies. Be sure to read the stickies and do a search to see if your question has been answered before creating a new thread.
