No OP 7 in the US!

I'm so disappointed the OP7 will not be available in the US. I'm not that interested in the 7 pro (a little too big, curved edge sucks), and I just can't bring myself to get a phone with last year's processor in it (6t). Especially for a minuscule 5% discount. Now I guess I have to look elsewhere. The Asus ZenFone 6 is supposed to be announced on the 16th. Hopefully the rumors of a slider with a big battery are true.

Yep, very disappointing there isn't going to be a 7 in the US. I don't want a curved screen, I can get that with Samsung and I chose a 6T because I didn't want that. I don't care how well they built it, that pop up selfie cam is going to have issues.

The only thing I want from the pro is the camera setup. I was hoping to see at least two of the lenses on the 7 and a spec and battery bump. So I'll be riding the 6at till fall. If OnePlus screws us again with the The model I'll be shopping other brands again.

Is this for sure?
I was starting to wonder if they didn't announce the 7 so as not to steal the thunder from the pro, given it's price. I'm hoping this isn't true.

I'm really bummed there's not going to be OP7 in the US. I don't want the Pro version. Now to figure out what to buy instead.

9 to 5 Google is calling the 7 a '6TT'. It has the same body as the 6T with a different finish and the 7 Pro's 48mpix camera along with n 855 instead of the 845.

A friend who works at a T-Mo store says customers almost always want a Galaxy or iPhone despite what salesfolks say about other phones.

I guess unless you are Apple, it is hard to sell a new phone in the old body with a new color as the only visible difference. Since T-Mo already has stock of the same phone with last years CPU, they probably figure they will just drop the price (from $580 to $550) and sell the 6T along side the S9 and other previous model phones instead of certifying a new phone in the old shell.

That said, I'd pay $600 for this in the US.

I don't understand this thread. There are really the same options of buying this as has been for EVERY One plus of the past minus the 6T with T-Mobile. Buy it online through the website. And to add is it really worth buying the 7 when it's the same as the 6T with a slightly better processor and a hint if a bigger battery. Even the major reviewers have called the the 6TT because it's just a slight rehash of the 6T. Go get the 6T for $550 and be happy with an amazing phone. Or just pay for the extra $100 through the OnePlus website.

No. The regular 7 is not being sold in the US officially.

Sorry you are right for now, but I have a feeling that by this summer it will be available for US consumers just like every other device has been since the begining.

No, it won't. Oneplus has no intention whatsoever of selling the regular 7 here.
