No Option to NOT Show Contact Pics on Note 4??

I have the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Galaxy Note 4 (SM910A) and I have these annoying default cartoon looking contact photos for contacts and text messages, and in the dialer, but I do not want to use them. Is there an option to turn them off? Because I cannot find one. If there is not, I would love to see developers make that's an option. I would love to have my nook for without these annoying, hideous, cheap cartoon looking contact photos by default. In other words, if I don't have a contact photo for every one of my contacts, which I don't, I have to look at this hideous default version of a generic male or female silhouette. Please advise. Thank you
