AC Question

Hi

Your help would be appreciated. I'm running Android 6.0 on an Elephone P9000. A few days ago under
settings/mobile networks/preferred network type I selected 3G ( From a choice of 3G and 4G). Now when I go back to try and select 4G the option is no longer there - only 3G. Restarting the phone has no effect.

I can select LTE via the dialer code *#*#4636#*#* but this is only a work around as it needs to be reentered on restart.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi

Thanks for the quick response. That has apparently solved the problem. Network type is now 4G(Recommended) and it persists after restart. However under settings/mobile networks/preferred network type the only option is 3G. Where originally 3G and 4G were selecteble. I dont think I'll change it again.:)

I can't even get preferred network type in settings

Welcome to Android Central! This is a 4 year old thread. System menus can change over time, so it's important to know which phone you're using.
