No OTA updates

My wife owns LG G2 for about 3 weeks. The model is D80120g and T-mobile site said updates are available. PC update requires lot of steps and I am not comfortable with it. But there's no OTA for my device, I clicked "Check update" and nothing happened. Is there something I need to do in order to receive it over the air? My neighbor has the Lollipop on his Nexus 6 and it is very nice and different. Please help.

The update looks like it only started rolling out a couple of weeks ago. System updates can take up to several weeks to reach everyone--they can't do it all at once, or the servers would get overloaded. I'd wait at least another 2-3 weeks.
