Maybe, if/when I can go to andriod 13, this will be resolved?

Up and running on android 13 without the beta, and the problem is still here. If I select Settings/Security/Google Play system update, the option seems stuck and does not respond at all. Any input would be appreciated.

I'm seeing that on my Pixel 6a, which is still on the June security update (and July Google Play system update). Still waiting for Android 13 on this one -- my 6 Pro just got that update.

For now, I would suggest sending feedback to Google about the issue.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have an email for Google feedback? Yesterday I worked with Google via text for a while and 3 different people with no fix.

I would just send feedback from within the system settings. Go to Settings>About Phone>Send Feedback About This Device. The goal here is not to get immediate support from Google, but instead to make sure they're aware of this issue, in hopes that they'll fix it in an upcoming update.

Same here with my P6P. However, it works fine on my wife's P6. I came off beta, she did not. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

With the latest Google Play update, the check for system update is working once again.Screenshot_20220825-221118.jpg

Finally; the function is up and running!
