No ROMS install from ROM Manager...help

My evo is rooted and running Cyanogen 6.1.2 and originally had a stock nan backup but got accidently erased. Anyways I'm wondering if because I erased my original stock rom if thats why I can't load any other roms from the Rom manager. I tried the original Sprint stock rom deoxed and said the file was curropted at about 60% load. then tried the oxed version and when the phone reboots it just stays on the white boot screen. I pull the battery and try and find the stock rom but its nowhere to be found. My Cyn 6 is still there so i load that instead. I've tried this with Myns and same result. Is this because I erased my original stock rom or because i'm doing something wrong or because the rom manager is defective. please help. thanks. by the way i spent 2 hours trying to do this and nothing.

probably an issue with ROM manager and clockwork MOD recovery... I have had issues like this and generally have to flash amonRA recovery. you can do this in ROM manager. Manually download the rom you want to try and put it on your SD card in a file you can find easily. Reboot into rocovery and flash manually from there. make sure you wipe everything... data, dalvik, etc.

Just made sure you backup your existing rom( just in case) before you attempt you flash another rom.

Thanks for the reply. I finally managed to get Myn's two point two rom. I had to download it on my PC and then place it on my root s/d file where i was able to flash it from recovery after doing the cache wipe. Now I'm about to try and search why when I flash CyanoMod 7 it loops the boot logo. lol.

I had huge coverage issues when I flashed CM7... only 1-2 bars of 1x... no 3G... no 4G... and like 1 bar of WiFi when I was sitting right next to the router. Be sure to NANDroid backup your Warm setup... chances are, you'll end up restoring it. (I always have )
