No Sound Headphone Icon on

We are currently having an issue with our tablets, it is not producing any sound . We have our tablet set up with bluetooth wireless headphones, There is a headphone icon is on but there is currently no sound coming from device speakers or headphones. Not sure what happen, Does anyone have any advice or know how to fix the issue.

try to un-pair/forget BT headphones from device. then reboot device and re-pair.

tried that but still no sound. When I reboot it said the earphones were still connected. It seems like the tablet is thinking the headphones are physically plugged into the device. Any help? Thanks

I just physically plug in a set of headphones...and I got sound. But when I unplug I dont get anything.

Try to turn the volume up... And to re-pair. If it doesn't work, your headphones are broken
