No Sound on Razr

I have a Droid Razr running Stock 6.11.748. It has never been rooted or anything of that nature. Recently all of my Sounds have stopped working (Notification, Ringtone, Media, Everything). I've checked all of the volume levels, and they appear to be fine. I've tried plugging headphones in and out, but that does not help. I can't even get sound with the head phones plugged in. I checked for an OTA, but do not see one available. To be honest, the problem really only started after the 748 OTA. At first it was just occasional, but now the sound is gone completely. I even did a factory reset on the phone. This phone has no sound at all, can someone please help?

Mine did the same thing. Check to see if it is telling you that an HDMI cable is connected. Mine started playing sound when I went through setting and applications and forceclosed the Motorola Dock app. Still having problem with the HDMI cable connected when there has never been one connected and camera issues now. But my sound did come back on.

Same thing here. I tried all the solutions you mention with no luck (never checked hdmi though). It was an intermittent problem. Seemed to happen most when the phone was warm (putting phone in freezer or going outside in the cold would get it to work again). Anyway I finally got it to happen while at the Verizon Store and the tech agreed to replace my phone as defective. My new razr has no problems. Might be a bad batch of phones or something.

I had this same problebm because its motorola BUT i have have figuied it out u can either A: Press the back of the case in for sound B: Try rebooting the phone. And C: Update the software/wipe (facrtory reset) the phone. I had no sound A didnt work and i did not want to kill my phone so i rebooted but itz ok and working fine Plz like

Settings > Sound > Volume then adjust the Notifications turns sound back on for my RAZR. It is strange that adjusting Media or Ring do not return sound; only adjusting the Notifications.
