No torch (flashlight) icon on new Galaxy J3

[AC Question]

I accidentally found how to turn on the flashlight function a few days ago, but since I'm new to this phone I forgot how to do it and no online help is giving me the info because they all start by showing a torch icon which I don't have on my phone.

Thanks for the info. I tried your suggestion and it worked. I have just upgraded my phone to a J3 and didn’t even know it had a torch facility. I only decided to check because my dad has a torch on his iphone 6S and I was curious about my phone.

When I bought my phone flashlight was in my notification bar, but it went away after not using it for a while. To get it back into your notification bar, simply hold onto an icon that is already there (ex. Wifi, Bluetooth, Location, etc.) keep holding it until it gives you the option to change which ones are there. Drag the flashlight back into your notification bar. Note: I have a Galaxy J3 Emerge.

Thanks I really needed the flashlight along with a few of the others missing on my notifications tray.
