No update a week after release, how many others?

I guess the OTA is 50/50. mine phone has been fine after the update. Im actually getting a little better battery life.
my notifications seem to be a bit slower now but nothing crazy..

Location doesn't seem to have anything to do with update, my wife and I bought 2 tbolts at same store she got update I have not yet.

Just to let everyone know, as the op of this thread, I still haven't got the ota. Just wondering if I'm an aberration or a part of a relatively substantial minority...anybody else?

I havent received it either. Very weird. I was about to go down to a Verizon store and give them the ol' WTF.

I was one of the first to get the update but after being on Android for several years now I've learned

1. Let other do the update first and see what happens.

2. If it isn't broke, don't try and fix it.

I rejected the update the moment it hit my phone and I'm very thankful I did. My Tbolt has been working extremely well and is very stable so I was wary of this update from the word go.

wish Verizon would update their network to stop crashing tho :D

Trying to get an idea of how widespread this is now. How many others, like me, have tried all the techniques for dloading/installing the ota update and still haven't got it. I know it's buggy, but seems wierd that it has been 7 days now and no dice. Has it been halted? Do the moderators know anything? Should an official poll be set up?

I got it first time I tried. Bought the phone yesterday.

I havent received the OTA either. I called VZW support on Wed and they said to wait another week and then call back and then maybe they will do something. Ive been checking for new updates everyday and nothing. I live in FL near Daytona in a 3G area, but was in Orlando last Mon/Tues in 4G and still not taking. Oh well, my phone is working fine as it is and when it comes it will come.

I'm in LA, I tried to get it a few times on the first day but then backed off.. never have gotten any notifications and with all of the issues it's been causing I'm glad I never got it!

Update? What update? There's an update? :-!

Glad I won't get that update and never will. (Except that I have to do it manually if I wanted to) Hehe :D

No update here in Maryland either. Based on what I'm reading, I don't want it. I can wait til they fix the issues or there is a 1button root.:D

I do not believe Verizon has put the update on hold. I never received the update on my old device which was destroyed by liquid on a failed Invisible Shield installation. I received my replacement from Asurion, brand new and in the box with all of it's accessories, and was prompted to do an update within 30 minutes of setting the device up. I don't understand why this device got it and why my old one did not but who cares.

...heres to hoping I don't have any problems.

Edit: I'm not sure if my phone is made better or if the update changed it but I have no hissing noise during a call. I'm so happy!

I don't really want this update. But what you say concerns me. If they're still distributing it, why haven't I got it?

I think they are just slow to rollout. I we having the exact same issue and then it all of a sudden showed up. I am not installing it though. The last thing I need is random reboots in the middle of a conference call.

Interesting. Thanks.

If you're stock, do you have to keep rejecting the update notification or do you only have to do it once to keep it from installing? Also, how would this affect your ability to get future ota updates?
