Hey all, I'm on T-Mobile with a G3, got notification early this week of software update. I wasn't near WiFi so I couldn't download the update. The notification was active for about 2 days then went away. Now every time I check for update, phone says it's up to date. Currently running 4.4.2. I attempted to update via Lg PC Suite but I got an error "Mobile device software upgrade is blocked on no upgrade policy" I attempted a few times but no luck. Anybody have any ideas on what's going on?

Hmm, that sounds possible. Guess I'll just wait. My phone runs great on Kit Kat so maybe I don't wanna update after all.

Use the LG Mobile Support Tool and go to Options > Upgrade Recovery. It will update your phone to Lollipop.

Thanks for the info. But I decided to just root my phone. It runs so good on Kit Kat that I don't want to risk spoiling it with getting a funky lollipop install
