No Voice Search?

Google Voice search shows up on my phone in Google Play My Apps as well as in Settings Applications, but i see no way to launch it. Anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Turn on the google search widget and there is a little microphone on it. It is also accessible through the google search app launcher on your menu.
