No WiFi on HTC One (M8)

Since my HTC ONE got the update (4.4.2), the WiFi at home wont connect. Even though I try to connect, it shows that the connection is saved, secured with WPA. But there is no WiFi icon showing on the top of the screen. The WiFi works in the city or anywhere there is WiFi but my house. I've tried deleting it from my phone, turning the modem of and reconnecting it, but it still won't work. Anybody know what I'm supposed to do?

You must be in the wrong section. The m8 shipped with 4.4.2, there was no update to bring it to that version of android

There was an HTC update of some kind I got it yesterday.
