Noise Cancellation?

Ok, I know the TBolt is suppose to have noise cancellation, but does anybody else notice it not working?

I work in a office setting, and when I've tested the cancellation, the party on the other side could hear everything that another coworker was saying 20 feet away from me. To me, that's not very good cancellation... No?

When I spoke to my wife, she had noticed the same thing. Kind of odd.

I don't think noise cancellation means that it will only pick up your voice and ignore things like other people talking. I would assume that there is an algorithm to tune it, and that they have to pick what to cancel. Probably white and pink noise, or use it to enhance voice above other sounds. So it may not be exactly what you are expecting. I know my jawbone is different, it is gated so that it only passes sound through when it picks up vibrations (from your jaw...) and also reduces background noise as well, but that isnt this

I did a test with my TB and my wife's verizon iphone -- we started a conversation with our 3 and 5 year olds in the background and the tv on. When I was listening to her on her iphone and I was in another room I could barely hear the kids or the tv. Then I gave her my TB and listened to her iphone in another room. The kids and the tv were much more noticeable, so it doesn't seem like a lot of noise cancellation going on.
