Noise Reduction

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the "Enable enhanced noise reduction" option in the call settings for the Droid Charge?

I was not sure if the second microphone up top was for the video camera feature, or if it were used for noise cancellation like on my droid X.

Any info?
