Nokia 6 - latest Google Security patch causing frequent crashes and heating up of phone

Hi I have updated Google security patch for Nokia 6 day before yesterday and since then my phone keeps on heating up badly while charging and also my phone app crashes when i get a call waiting while on another call. Not only that, but my phone app keeps on crashing. Please suggest a solution?

Welcome to Android Central! Try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: How to Hard Reset the Nokia 6. Make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition, and not Wipe Data.

I tried updating my google security patch for my Nokia 6 and after that my phone keeps rebooting at interval...

Which security patch are you on? Have you also tried the steps posted above or a factory reset after backing up any important data?
