Nokia 8 half screen went static

This just happened... My phone is in permanent bothie mode

I don't know how, one second I was on Twitter, the next the left half of my screen went static. I haven't been able to fix it by soft reset or hard reset. When I take a screenshot I get the whole picture, so the phone thinks it's displaying everything correctly. When the screen is off, the static is also gone. I gave the phone a few hours rest, but also to no success. Any suggestions as to what is happening, and what I can do?

Did you contact Nokia Support? This looks more like a hardware issue.
