Now that the stable update is out, What are your thoughts about the update?

I upgraded last night, the UI changes are nice, the phone feels faster.
On the down side the battery -at least for me- is noticably worse :'(

I wonder if a hard reset would correct that. Lots of people do that after major updates. Might be a hassle though, so you may want to wait for the next update to see if battery life improves.

Not yet appeared on my 8 (TA-1012, UK) even though I am on beta programme.

Turns out it's my phone not the update (poor Network drains battery).
Battery life is better than ever!
