I picked up the Nokia DT-900 Qi charger at a local AT&T store yesterday and tried my first charge last night. I laid the N7-2 on top of the charger and the light on the charger turned on solid. The N7-2 also indicated it was being charged. I checked it in the morning and the tablet was charged to 100% so it seems to be working. However, when I checked it in the morning the light on the charger was still on solid, which I think means it was still charging. The charger and tablet were warm which seems to confirm it was still charging. I was charging with the Devicewear Ridge case on if that matters.

So shouldn't the charging stop when it hits 100%?

What does yours do when it finishes charging?

Thanks.

Most devices, when they get to 100% charge, will stop charging, let the batter discharge a little bit, then top it back off. That is how they keep from over charging the battery. It is possible you caught it at the end of this cycle, right as it was getting back up to 100%.

I have 2 Qi chargers, one is DT900 the other is a no-name. Neither one shut down or show fully charged with the Nexus 7 2013. As the Nexus is the only Qi device I have I cannot compare as to how other devices might behave. So at least as far as the DT900 is concerned your unit's behavior is the same as mine. I am not planning to lose sleep over it :)!
