So I've been using a wallet case for a couple weeks now. Just now noticed my screen has a dull scratch in two places where my cards rubbed the screen. No I didn't have a screen protector on it. Didn't figure a plastic card would scratch this screen. UGH!!!!!!!!

Should I contact Nomad about this?

All it really takes is some sand in between the screen and case and it will scratch.

Unfortunately.

Sorry about that but mine scratched too and I am very careful with mine and dont use a wallet case.

I was with in the 20 day buyer remorse so I sent mine back got a new one and put a armor shield on and working fine.

Why in the hell do they design something like this or at least give some sort or warning? It's kinda BS really.

I learned the hard way back when I had my iPhone 7 Plus. Those cards will scratch it. Luckily I had a Tempered Glass.

Even the Spigen I bought, the other was eBay has a warning how to place cards. Face card down and magnet strip to the left...or was it right? LOL

I would contact them and at the very least expect a refund on the wallet case

I have used wallet cases for the last 3 or 4 phones and make sure I have some kind of protector on the screen. My tempered glass and/or skinomi has saved me each time. I love the beautiful, naked glass but all it would take is one scratch for me to have a meltdown. LOL I'm sorry it happened to you.

chances are the edges of the cards had gotten fragments of hard stones embedded into them that you can't see.

It doesn't take much. Fact is phones are currently the only thing we keep exposed and expect to be scratch free. Optics in any lab are handled delicately if not kept at clean room status. Even a prosumer camera user knows not to uncap the lens until you are ready to shoot.
