Last night i rooted and flashed my incredible to cyanogen 7 using unrevoked and rom manager. Last night everything was working wonderfully. then this morning i went to install my google applications because gmail/maps/voice search wasnt installed. when i opened the market cyanogens auto popup for google apps came up and i checked off what i wanted. i installed them all. i then tried opening gmail and it force closed every time. i then stopped trying and installed launcher pro. after installing i hit the home key to launch it and this is when everything went bad. gmail/youtube/handcent started force close once and launcher pro force closes over and over to the point that i cant get around it. i then rebooted and get to the lock screen. as i soon as i unlock the phone gmail/youtube and handcent force close. when i clear the closes out i have a white screen with my notification bar. as soon as i hit the home key launcher pro goes into a force close circle that i cant get around.

i then figured id reboot in recovery and wipe the phone. so i boot in recovery and go to wipe data/factory reset and i hit the power button once its highlighted and i get a picture of a hat an arrow that makes a circle under the hat. the phone doesnt wipe. when i hit the power key again it brings me back to the recovery options. i then tried hitting every other option in recovery to see what it would do and i get the same hat with an arrow.

so now im stuck! any help is much appreciated!!

edit- while in recovery i started pressing the home key/back key/power key randomly over and over and eventually it said "back menu button enabled" after this i was able to select wipe! i wonder wtf happened!

In recovery you move with the trackpad and select with it power button is used as a back button to go back not a select button. Also if you wipe data you have to flash the rom right after.... wipe everything in recovery then select install zip from SD/ choose from SD . Locate the rom and click yes . When its done reboot

Joncat84 - If you still get force closes after the reinstall run Fix permissions in recovery. That should fix it.
