Noob Question: which is the phone model number on the box?

Is it the one above the IMEI? or the one by the CE?

It's the number that looks like XT1092, XT1093, XT1094, XT1095, XT1096 or XT1097.

Yeah I was looking for something like that,but it doesnt have it on there.I checked in the phone options too, it says "Model Number: Moto X (Second Generation)".I guess its a mystery model number lol.. thanks for the help though!

Another way to get the model number is to look at the user agent sent by Chrome.

Or like most of us you just don't really care... they are all Moto X (Second Generation) or some call it the Moto X (2014). The only real difference is who put the ROM version on your device... Motorola (Pure Edition), Verizon, or AT&T. And of course how much memory is in it.

I've also seen it referred to as the Moto X+1.
