So is there a way to reboot without removing the battery?

Press the power button long enough, a menu will appear, giving you the option to shut off.

While i'm sure i would have figured it out, that is a good thing to know. And its awesome that the OS puts those few other features in there like Airplane mode, vibrate mode, etc.

I'm loving me some Android right now!

Agreed. It is a really handy feature. When I got my Moto Droid I was pretty pumped about this, especially coming from a Storm 1.
