Nook is too much of a pain to use on my TB.
I have to sign in every time. (no auto log in?)
I have to download my books every time. (does not store them on SD card?)
Crashes, Force closes too much to be of any use.
Nook works great on my iPad - it's a waste of time on the Thunderbolt.
Kindle, on the other hand works perfectly on both Thunderbolt and iPad. I don't have to sign in every time I want to read a book, and my books don't have to be downloaded every time I open the app. GOOD JOB KINDLE......hey Nook, take a page from Kindle and get it right.
Noob Question,
If I had ebooks that I purchased from barnes and noble and I downloaded on nook using previous iphone4 can I download on kindle?
Thanks for the feedback TnT,I seriously doubt it since the Nook is specifically tied to B&N and the Kindle is specifically tied to Amazon. That would be similar to taking a book you bought from Amazon to B&N and asking them to give you a refund on it. Ain't gonna happen.
As for which app is better on the Thunderbolt, the Kindle one wins hands down; and I prefer to use it. You don't have to fiddle with any settings to make it work; just click on it and it does its job. Unfortunately, the book I was wanting wasn't available in an eformat at Amazon so the Nook app it is for this one.
