Has anyone noticed that the 16GB of storage space on the nook over 11GB are reserved for B&N Only and 1GB is for your own files. Or am I looking at this thing wrong? If the HD is partitioned to be in 2 parts, is there a way to adjust the HD so that I can have 11GB for my own use and 1GB for B&N (without rooting)? And i tried to move EPUBS into the B&N Downloads---Books folder, but the books will not show up in my library. Something is not right...

Yes, the Nook Tab only has 1gig reserved for other content besides B&N. With the exception of the operating system all the rest is reserved for B&N content. I just went out and bought a 16gig Sandisk SD card from Radio Shack for 16.99 and enabled third party downloads in settings and now I have plenty of storage plus a whole world of free apps and books from amazon.

I just rooted mine. I still havent figured out how to access the rest of the space. first time I ever even used anything with android. Bought the tablet 2 days ago. I still have ALOT to learn

How did you get access to the whole 16GB? I can only access about 116MB on it. The rest is invisible.

What is the path or means to enable third party downloads?

Thanks,
