I wanted to get 4.3 on my phone because 4.1.2 wont let you use your SD Card for apps. That is all I wanted. Then I used ODIN to get twrp (cannot get cwm to work :/ ) It worked and i installed the ROM... then it happened. It would not boot, it got stuck in a loop. I took out the batter to get it in recovery again. I then put it into recovery again. No the touchscreen will not work. I have tried every version of twrp from 2.5.0.0 to 2.7.0.1 and nothing worked. I tried loading the ROMs with ODIN and they didn't show up because they were .zip files. I re-compressed them to .tar files then tried again. I got an error that said "Unsupport dev_type" So I gave up. Anyone know what to do? A program that can actually reset my phone to its factory default? Otherwise I have a $150 paperweight with no warrenty. Thank you for reading. (btw I went 7 hours straight trying to find a fix but found nothing.) My Mood:

If you can get into recovery then clear cache and data
download a stock firmware and flash it with odin, only tick autoreboot and f-reset time
After that again clear cache and data from recovery .

As I said before I can get into recovery but I cannot tap on anything because the ROM I installed was not compatable with my phone. So I cannot do anything on there. I already thought of this and tried. If there is a way to load an old version of twrp or some other recovery booter, I would maybe be able to do it. (If it was with the volume buttons.)

well I guess I just have a $150 paperweight :/ unless someone can get cwm for my phone or fix the "Unsupport dev_type" error.... :(

ODIN Tool
TWRP Recovery

Launch ODIN through its executable file in the extracted folder.
Click on PDA button to choose TWRP Recovery from the downloaded location.
Uncheck the following files

Auto Reboot
Re-partition
5. Power down your Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE.

6. Now user need to get into Download Mode using ?Volume Down + Power? keys combination.

7. Press ?Volume Up? key to confirm your action.

8. Now connect your phone to the Computer/Laptop through USB cable.

9. Finally click on ?Start? button in ODIN to start flashing the phone with TWRP Recovery.

You have done everything successfully. Now just reboot your phone and you will get your phone flashed on the boot up.

TWRP does not work because the touchscreen driver got deleted when i installed the custom ROM.. i can see the time change but when i tap it, it does not work... So i need to figure out how to get cwm into a tar file... well i have but it gets an error saying unsupport dev_type. so i dunno m8 :/

this will help you

first clear cache then data from recovery then
re flash again with 4.1.2
make sure your phone is working ..
