Not able to cast Amazon Prime Video on Android TV using Samsung Galaxy S8+ mobile

[Android Central Question]

Hello - While using Amazon Prime Video app, when I try to cast the screen on my Android TV, I am not able to see the visuals. I can only see black screen. Voice is audible clearly as well as Subtitles are also clearly visible on screen. Only the video isn't visible.

I don't face this problem while projecting video from any other app on my TV.

Also I can easily cast Amazon Prime Video app using my older One Plus 2 phone on the same Android TV.

Please suggest a solution since this issue is specific only to this phone and only while using Amazon Prime Video app.

I get the same thing. Captions work which makes me think it is a Amazon thing.

Amazon Prime Video does not support casting to Google devices or any chromecast supported devices.

Is this a TV with Android or a Android TV Box. Prime Music will cast but Prime Video will not. The cast icon is not available for Prime Video

Exactly :/ Even if it was an android TV box there still shouldn't be a cast icon available on the price video app.
