Not able to download anything from market

This happens occasionally, just make sure you reboot to ensure you have your mobile 3 or 4G data on and if it is and you can get to the internet, then the Market is down temporarily. You just have to wait it out.

Market download issue..

I have searched around to try and find information on this and unless i'm searching the wrong terms (of which i usually have no problems) I can't find anything regarding a fix.

Anything I try download shows up briefly in the notification bar, then disappears right away..

So it would be like this, go to Market > find an app > click FREE > then INSTALL > it shows up in notification bar that it has started, then just disappears...

it never installs, never shows me an error..

What I've tried so far...

1. obviously have tried to reboot (more than once)
2. tried clearing cache on market
3. tried using WIFI
4. tried with 4g on and off..

not sure where else to turn for fixing this...

I've had same issue trying to do multiple downloads at once... what's worked for me is to try one at a time, then pull down the drag bar at top of screen and see if green progress bar is moving... if not, go back to the app and reinstall a second time... usually this works... short of that, I might try reinstalling market...

Having a strange market issue myself out of nowhere... have a ton of apps installed, and usually you get a periodic notification that there are updates available... or when you go in to market and hit downloads, it tells you what can be updated... when I go into market now, in downloads it lists all of my apps, but then says free next to them, like it isn't seeing they're installed already... anybody else experience this or know a fix? Thx

im not doing multiple dloads at once.. but when i pull down the notification bar to see what it does, it looks like it wants to start then disappears (it never stays in there more than like 5-10secs at all)

Did you wipe your phone at any point? That might be it.

no, never have

I had the exact same problem a few days ago, I searched around and couldn't find a fix. I ended up doing a nandroid restore from a few weeks ago to fix it. From what I found searching this problem, one fix was to log out of gtalk on the phone and log back on, didn't fix it for me though.

Mine and my daughters epics did the same thing for a day and just started working again the next day. Don't know what to say....

You might have to do a hard reset. When initially I purchased my phone, everything downloaded just fine, until about after a week. Then I tried with no succession for about to download from the market. I was hoping it would get resolved without me having to reset my phone. Nothing doing. I had to do it. Tried everything you mentioned, everything else as well EXCEPT for a hard reset. I went ahead, pulled up my sleeves and did it. Overall, a minor inconvenience of course but an inconvenience nonetheless. After doing so, my phone's worked like a charm. It started downloading from the market ever since, as soon as I did the reset.

If the Market's down there's nothing you can do. If the problem is on your end, sometimes signing into Google Talk will help initiate Market downloads. Don't ask me why - but it has worked for me and others before.

This did the trick for me! I haven't been able to download apps for awhile now and signing into Google Talk did the trick
