Not all folders in my Nexus 5 are detected by my computer

Greetings. I'm using a Nexus 5 running on Marshmallow, and whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (VAIO running on Windows 10), it doesn't work as I have hoped.
MTP works fine; I can access my Internal Storage. In the Device Manager, it's stated that I already have the MTP USB Driver.
However, not all folders are read by the computer. For example, in the Pictures folder, I can't find my Twitter folder. There's nowhere to be found. It is actually there, as I can save pictures from Twitter from the Twitter for Android app, and when I use tools like ES File Explorer from my phone, the folder and the files are there. It's just when I try to open it with my computer, the problem occurs.

This is becoming some kind of a headache, as I can't backup most of my pictures and music files (yes, not all music files are shown too; but it's actually there in my phone!) to my computer. The folders are not hidden too, so this is definitely weird.

I'm sorry if my English is a little bit hard to understand. Helps are really appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

Thank you for the welcome, Diddy!
Yes, my windows explorer has been set to show hidden files/folders, but the files aren't detected by my laptop. The files are there though when I check them on ES File Explorer via my phone.. Weird, isn't it?

I have the same issue with my Nexus 5, pictures are not visible from windows file manager but I can see just fine using ES File Explorer, not sure what to do.
