Not booting up after JH7 update with Kies Mini

I recently found out I could update my captivate with Kies Mini (when I tried to update otherwise I got the "failure to communicate with server" error). I updated and everything went smoothly. Kies told me update was successful and I unplugged my captivate. It was booting up fine until it reached the Galaxy S logo. It kept going through the logo animation for about 2 minutes before it shut off. I took the battery out and tried again. Same result. How can I fix this?

Please help, thank you.

edit: I was running a One Click Lag fixed captivate with. I have a Win 7 64 bit
edit 2: okay now my soft buttons are lighted up. When I touch them It responds with a blink, but no haptic feedback. What is going on??

I had the same problem after forgetting to disable Voodoo lag fix before loading Froyo. Only thing that worked for me was flashing back to stock. You can find more info here [STOCK ROM] Odin3 One-Click Downloader and Drivers CAPTIVATE ONLY - xda-developers. You may want to consider trying to get it replaced under warranty though. It's stock after doing that but there are traces of it being hacked when you look at the Kernel and Build number I think (I can't confirm, just what I remember) so if anything happens down the road it will be harder to get it replaced. If you try now, since they can't get into it they may not know WTF is going on and not say anything. I hack all my stuff so I knew it was just a matter of time before I voided my warranty but that's just me. If you get it replaced don't say anything about the lag fix and just play dumb.

My warranty has already expired last month. That thread you linked me says it will wipe all my data and everything. I want to just see if theres another solution without deleting all my data. Maybe some kind of reset? Thanks
