When you connect via USB, swipe down the notification panel and tap the USB icon. Make sure it's set to MTP (or possibly File Transfer). Then look for the device again in Windows Explorer.
They think it's a bad tablet. I'm wondering if I got to buy one of their own darn usb cables. I know samsungs can act wonky at times and not work with other devices.
It's probably bad hardware. I doubt RCA would require proprietary cables. RCA is essentially an off-brand these days, and their devices are probably sourced from some generic manufacturer in China.
I doubt it as well, but when I seen that they sold the USB cables on there that got me thinking that they just might. I'm going to get it replaced and if have the same issues as this one I got now then I'll just get my money back.
Let me guess, you didn't enable USB Debugging in your tablet settings? This is a requirement for this to work. I'm shocked not 1 person mentioned this, good grief...
