Not getting group messages from 2 iPhone users

Not sure what's going on here. I haven't been receiving group messages from 2 specific people for a long time but I can receive them from each individual. What's strange is that I have other friends (iphones) that I receive group messages from.

Welcome to Android Central! This probably shouldn't matter, but it's still worth asking--have you ever had an iPhone and used iMessage? If so, did you make sure you deactivated your iMessage account and removed your phone number from its servers?

Yes but almost 2 years ago.

Do you still use an iPad, or anything else that might have iMessage on it?

Also, ask those 2 people to each send you an iMessage with an attachment (so it's forced to send MMS), marked to be sent as SMS. Sometimes the setting gets lost and has to be reinforced.
