Not getting skype IM notifications

Hi,

I'm not able to get skype IM notifications on my Gear Live. All kinds of other notifications work fine. Does anybody else have this working? (or also not working?) My phone is a stock Nexus 5 on T-Mobile.

I've investigated this a bit more, and the notification seems to be making it to the watch, but won't be displayed by default. If it is 'pending', and I swipe up, it will show, but it is never displayed automatically and the watch never vibrates when it is received. This makes for mostly useless notifications... I've tried various Skype notification settings (sound vs vibrate), and those seem to have no effect.
