so im trying to update and not to sure why or what i did... but my xoom now has the moto displayed like when it starts up but top left says "starting res protocol support 0"

Um I am assuming you were trying to update to the ISC soak? If so you should have followed these USB update instructions to the "t". [Guide] How to apply an update.zip to a stock Xoom (3G/WIFI) (with a USB-Host cable) - xda-developers . If not I'm not totally sure how to get you back up and running without some more info. Also the ICS update is for wifi xooms ONLY.

Push and hold down the power button and up volume button at the same time a few seconds. It'll restart normally

ok yea, im back on track, took a few messing with it to finally get it back rebooted, now just waitin to get the cable today so i can get updated. and then have to work on getting my wifi up and running...
