Not officially waterproof, but...

A couple weeks ago it was time to blow out our home sprinkler system before winter. Had to open a few valves manually in an in-ground box, which I opened to find that I have a leak, because the box was full of water.

I tend to carry my Z Force in my shirt pocket. I leaned over to mess with the valves, and it slipped right out and dunked straight into the water. I immediately pulled it out, of course, but it went under, and then floated (Not sure if that was the phone, or the Tumi battery pack, or both providing buoyancy). I grabbed it, and it was only in the water 3 seconds, tops, but it was full immersion. I pulled the mod & bumper case off and put them inside, but didn't wipe them down until after we finished the blow-out.

I've had zero issues with it. Great phone.

I had that happen with a Z Play and the "pool my wife had to have". I just had a cheap gel case on and it sank 2 foot. Took it out, dryed it off and sat it on top of dehumidifier for about 12 hours.

I made sure to not power it up. After the 12 hours it works just fine.
